DJ Pandemonium Jones - SXSW, Stubbs, 3/14/08

Day three began bright and early in the noon hour with the Spin Magazine party at Stubbs. Good thing we knew DJ Pandemonium Jones or we might not have made the guest list. Jones' gig here was to spin records in between the live bands, and he did a stellar job picking good tunes in synch with the event, including a cool sounding cover version of the Stones' "Honky Tonk Women". We stayed for The Switches (nondescript loud rock), Ben Jelen, and the Whigs (posts follow). Stubbs laid out a nice BBQ buffet, the sun was bright and warm, the party was outside, loud, and fun.
